TUTORIAL : How I Color My Art [PART 2]

This is the continuation for the previous tutorial. For those who doesn't read it yet, you can read it here.
Okay, here I want to teach you all how to color our drawing use Paint Tool SAI for non-drawing tablet user~
Someone request and ask to teach her How do I color my art. So here I will teach you ^^


Here is the finished lineart and base color. After done making lineart and color for base color, I'll export it to PSD file (photoshop). Here I'll start color the shadow for my art (^_^)v..
Let's start colouring!

1. First open file(your art) at Photoshop. Here I use Adobe Photoshop CS3.

2. Select 'Paint Tool'. You can zoom to see clearly before start making shadow for your character's hair. (mine is Nomura Aru from MARGINAL#4)

3. Then, select the hair layer. And then, it gonna be like this. After that, Make a new layer above the hair's layer.

4. Select back "Paint Tool" and the start make the part (hair shadow) Do at what ever place you want. 

5. After that, choose the color ( darker than your first hair color).

6. After done choose the color, click at the right side mouse untill it pop out 'Fill Path'. Click 'OK'

7. Tada~! It will become like these!

8. Repeat this step for the entire body~

9. Done!

10. For the shine on your character's hair, choose the bright color.

11. And then Choose 'Brush' or 'Paint Tool' for making the shine of the hair. Brush for circle shape shine of your character's hair and Paint tool for 'lightning' or oval shape of your character's hair. ( here for mine, I choose Paint Tool )

 12. Jang Jang~! It'll become like this and it's done! *clap clap*
